    APS 365 Online – Banking day and night

    APS 365 Online gives you the facility to do your day to day banking activities from home or the office without calling or visiting the Bank. This gives you control over your finances 24 hours a day throughout the whole year. APS 365 Online also guarantees a secure internet connection to put your mind at rest when you are accessing your accounts, open new accounts and/or term deposits, pay bills, transfers funds and sending instructions to the Bank.

    How can I start using this service?

    Once you are an APS customer and you’re connected to the Internet:

    1. Go to our website www.apsbank.com.mt
    2. Click on ‘Online Subscription’ located under the APS 365 Online heading
    3. Read carefully the ‘Terms and Conditions’
    4. APS 365 Online subscription can be done online by providing us the required information
    5. Your details will be sent to the Customer Support Centre for processing
    6. Customer Support Centre will process your application and will contact you if more information is required 

    APS 365 Online subscribers will need to select their preferred authentication method during subscription.

    APS Bank is offering subscribers to APS 365 Online, two different authentication methods to choose from, namely:

    1. ‘Mobile’ authentication  
      This authentication method uses a password and a mobile security code sent by SMS when logging into the system or when transferring funds to third parties.  Should you opt for the ‘mobile authentication method’, a temporary password will be sent to you by the Bank by separate mail. This password is to be used for the first login only following which you shall be asked to create your own password.
    2. ‘Token’ authentication
      This authentication method uses a security code generated by the ‘Token’ when logging into the system or when transferring funds to third parties.  Should you opt for the ‘token authentication method’ you will be asked to call at your preferred APS Bank Branch to collect the token together the APS 365 Online Starter Pack..

    APS 365 Online Functionality

    Once we have processed your subscriptions and you have either received your temporary password or collected your Token from an APS branch, you can login and perform the following transactions:

    • view account(s) balances;
    • check account(s) entries;
    • effect inter-account transfers in local or foreign currency as well as transfer funds from your accounts to any other third party account worldwide;
    • pay utility bills;
    • open accounts in both local and foreign currency;
    • change maturity instructions of fixed deposit accounts;
    • order cheque/deposit books;
    • order foreign cash/travellers cheques/local and foreign bank drafts;
    • create, modify and delete standing orders;
    • view and print statement(s) or place a  request to have it sent by mail;
    • give notifications on your savings bonanza account:
    • create, modify and delete sweep agreements (automated inter-account transfers);
    • link your account(s)to your debit card(s);
    • request a new card PIN;
    • notify us of any lost/stolen debit card(s);
    • notify us of a stop payment (transaction also allows cancellation of (instructions);
    • view/order cheque image(s);
    • increase the daily limit on your Visa card.

    Is APS 365 Online safe and why?

    APS Bank adopts best practices and takes all the necessary precautions to ensure the security of the system.  However, security to the customer’s personal data is also, the responsibility of the customer.  Every customer should follow the guidelines and best practices provided by APS Bank by referring to our 356 Online Security Guidelines which can be found on the Banks’ website.   

    Please see below some of the most important security aspects for your consideration.

    Secure Your System

    • Use and maintain a good auto-update anti-virus.
    • Use and maintain a good auto-update anti-spyware.
    • Use a personal firewall.
    • Always use original licensed software and operating system.
    • Always download and install authorised operating system updates.
    • Do not run or install programmes of unknown origin.
    • Do not access your bank account(s) from public computers such as Internet cafes or public centres.

    Best Practices

    • Delete suspicious email(s) with attachments.
    • Delete without opening emails requesting personal details such as PINs or passwords – APS Bank will not ask you to provide personal details through emails, phone or SMSs.
    • Check for secure connection and double click on the ‘padlock’ icon on the bottom right corner to show you who really own the certificate and that it is issued by a Trusted Certificate authority in this case Verisign.
    • Type APS Bank’s URL address yourself avoid using short-cuts and links from emails.
    • Reconcile your account(s) either on-line or by statements frequently and regularly.
    • Always check for announcements or security advertisements on APS Bank’s website.

    Report any suspicious activities

    If you think that your PC has been compromised or you received a phishing scam, or that you may have received malware that enables someone to steal or access your account(s) details, lost your token or mobile, report it immediately to the Bank.

    Who can apply for APS 365 Online?

    All personal and corporate customers can subscribe and make use of APS 365 Online. Corporate customers will have the ability to setup signatories and transaction limits as per their requirements.
